How to avoid the front lens of the camera case becomes foggy?
Try not to keep the camera display 'ON' at all times because the display consumes a lot of power and it makes the camera becomes very hot. The heat will vapourize the moisture inside the camera thus cause the foggy. To use the power saving mode is recommended. Keep the flash off at all time. Use external movie lighting if necessary. The flash at the camera does not provide better picture quality at Seashell but only generate more heat and consume the battery faster. The heat may vapourize the moisture inside the camera as mentioned. When installing the camera into the Seashell, make sure the envoirnment is dry and clean and the camera was not kept at cold condition, otherwise the foggy front lens may happen.

Sea creatures are scary to human, any human movement to them will prohibit them from eating, mating and habitate. In some case, you movement may make them become aggressive and carry out attact to human.

How to control the Buoyancy Compensator?
It is important to make good use of your BC in order to control your position underwater get close to the photo object. Or to use your hand holding the rocks for moving. Try to avoid using your fins, or it will create water turbances that mess the mud and sand under water which may turn the water muddy.

What are the important points while taking pictures at the sea bed during day and night time?
When taking picture at the sea bed, try to stare the object from a lower angle. This will avoid a complex picture layout because the water will provide a very good background in the day time while a black background in the night time. This will make the photo object stands out.

How can I make the water splash clearly showing the water droplet?
You can set a higher ISO value e.g.ISO 400 or above at your compact digital camera. The camera will automaticlly uses a faster shutter speed, so it can catch a faster action e.g. water droplet. If your camera is able set the shutter speed, you can simply set it at a higher speed e.g. 1/1000 second or higher. If you camera can set an aperture, set it to smaller number, e.g. 2.8 and etc. The camera will use a faster shutter speed automatically.

What makes the picture foggy when I used the flash light.
There are many living organisms in the water you may not see in normal light as most of them are transparent. When there is flash light, the living organism become visable. As they are so small, you may not see and they appear as fog. It is simular to the car's headlight in heavy fog. Avoid to use strong light but to use higher ISO setting or small setting of aperture instead.

The water absorbs most of the other light but mainly blue remains, so the pictures become blue. It can be improved by setting the camera white balance to day light, floresent light. Some camera is equipped with under water mode. It will adjust the white balance automatically.

What is the reason why the picture always under exposure especially on a fine day with strong sun light?
On fine days under water, there are many stronge light spots that you may not notice. However, your camera will take these stronge light spots in account during automatic exposure and take a wrong measurement. You can increase the EV by 0.5 or more to compensate this error.

How to maintenance of the Water Sealing O-ring?
"Keep all kinds of dirt including but not limited to sand, dust or hair away from the water sealing O-ring, as it may affect the sealing performance of Seashell camera case. In case, it happens: - Remove the O-ring from the slot of Seashell camera case’s rear housing at the cutout near the hinge by your finger. Do not use any sharp tool e.g. knife, cutter, needle and etc as it may damage the O-ring.
- Do not over stretching the O-ring as it may damage the O-ring.
- Clean the O-ring by flushing water and remove the dirt by your finger gently.- Apply one drop of water sealing lubricant grease that comes along with Seashell camera case and wrap it along the whole length of the O-ring using your finger pulling from one direction until the circumference of the O-ring is covered, as shown in the figure. The sealing compound must be evenly covered. Do not over-stretching the O-ring while doing so.
- Apply too much water sealing compound may cause water leakage.
- Use your finder only, but not paper or cloth while applying water sealing compound on the O-ring.
- Put the lubricated O-ring by your hand gently back to the slot at Seashell camera case’s rear housing.
- Suggest cleaning and lubricating the water sealing O-ring

What preparation should I do before storing the water proof camera case if I do not use the water proof camera case for a long time?
Make sure the camera case is clean. Clean the camera case with dam cloths if necessary. Remove the large O-ring from the water proof camera case and put it into another plastic bag. This will help to relieve the tension and the stress on the O-ring prevent it from deformation. This will enlong the life time of the O-ring.

How can I keep myself stable while taking pictures??
Try to control yourself stable with your BC but not your fins, or by holding a rock. However, there always waves and current, use a higher ISO setting is preferable. Although higher ISO may cause more noise, it is less noticable for under water pictures.
